# Royalties

We believe that royalties are an important part of a collection because they help sustain the project as well as one of the main sources of income. It incentivizes the team and staff to continue and keep pushing/inovating in the space.

 For that reason our team decided to go for a **7.5%** royalty fee. This is going to allow us to sustain and further develop our mission of becoming the next blue chip and provide several forms of value to holders. The distribution is going to be divided between **Origin Lifetime Pass holders** (50%) and **Flames™** (50%).

The amount of amenities received by holders is going to be proportional to the number of NFTs each Origin holder holds. **(3x Origin Lifetime Pass NFTs = royalties x3).**

Distributions are going to happen on the **first day of the month and a random snapshot will be taken monthly** to verify who is holding the NFT.\

**Why are the Royalties so high?**

Having a slightly higher fee will create less selling pressure and someone that wants to sell won’t be inclined on letting go an Origin for a low price. Taking in consideration that the royalties are going back to holders this could be a **beneficial strategy for Origin holders** on the long term. Future collections will also have royalties that will be used to fund the amenities to Origin Lifetime Pass Holders.

**Important**: Keep in mind that some delays could happen, sometimes JPG and other platforms do not send royalties within 30 days (It could take less/more time than that). Once we receive the royalties they are going to be sent to **Origin Lifetime Pass holders**. Before and after a distribution is completed the team will provide all the information and announce it in the Origin Holders section, on Discord.\
